The Hunger Games Takes Home 4 Awards From MTV Movie Awards!

Yesterday was the MTV Movie Awards! The Hunger Games was nominated for so many categories including: Best Hero (Katniss), Movie of the Year, Best Male Performance (Josh Hutcherson as Peeta Mellark), Best Female Performance (Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen, Breakthrough Performance (Liam Helmsworth as Gale Hawthorne), Best Cast, Best Kiss, Best On-Screen Transformation (Elizabeth Banks as Effie Trinket), and Best Fight.

And the Hunger Games took home these four awards...
1. Best Male Performance (Josh Hutcherson as Peeta Mellark)
2. Best Female Performance (Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen)
3. Best On Screen Transformation (Elizabeth Banks as Effie Trinket)
4. Best Fight (Alexander Ludwig as Cato VS. Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss and Josh Hutcherson as Peeta)

Jennifer Lawrence had to accept her award from Prague (Czech Republic) via video. At the end she (true to her personality) joked around saying "I can't eat this!" after she won her Golden Popcorn

Elizabeth Banks after winning her award for Best On-Screen Transformation as District 12's escort Effie Trinket. 

Josh Hutcherson was thrilled to win his award for Best Male Performance as Peeta Mellark.When he accepted his award he said "I've wanted to hold a Golden Popcorn since I was like 4 years old!" Aw Josh is so adorable!
